Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Freight Broker located in Mohali district. The Freight Broker will oversee the day-to-day coordination and management of freight operations. Responsibilities include arranging transportation for goods, managing client and carrier relationships, negotiating rates, and ensuring timely delivery of shipments. The role also involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining accurate records, and supporting account management tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage operations is required.
- Strong skills in Customer Service and Dispatching are essential.
- Experience in Account Management and relationship-building with clients is a must.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding is a plus.
- Proficiency with industry software or tools related to freight management is beneficial.
