Job Title: Product Manager – Machine Learning & Data Analytics

Role Overview:

The Product Manager – Machine Learning & Data Analytics will lead the roadmap,

design, and delivery of AI/ML-powered solutions for Royal Enfield's digital and

connected vehicle ecosystem. The role involves defining data-driven product strategies

that enhance vehicle performance analytics, rider experience, predictive

maintenance, and personalization.

This position requires strong collaboration with engineering, data science, digital

platform teams, and business stakeholders at both Sasken and Royal Enfield to

ensure ML initiatives deliver measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Vision & Strategy

 Define the AI/ML product vision and strategy for connected motorcycles,

predictive maintenance, and rider intelligence.

 Align product goals with Royal Enfield's digital transformation roadmap and

customer experience objectives.

 Evaluate opportunities in telemetry, IoT, and edge analytics to build actionable

intelligence across RE's product lines.

  1. Product Roadmap & Execution

 Own the end-to-end lifecycle of ML features — from concept and data

acquisition to deployment and continuous improvement.

 Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to define model goals,

success metrics, and production-readiness criteria.

 Work with cloud and embedded platform teams to ensure seamless integration

of ML pipelines within RE's connected ecosystem.

 Translate analytical insights into user stories, acceptance criteria, and tangible

business value for engineering execution.

 Prioritize initiatives using data-driven frameworks (RICE, MoSCoW) to balance

innovation with operational excellence.

  1. Stakeholder Collaboration

 Act as a bridge between Royal Enfield business leads, Sasken delivery teams,

and technical specialists.

 Partner with UX designers to transform complex analytics outputs into intuitive

dashboards and user experiences.

 Present AI/ML outcomes and KPIs to senior leadership and product steering

committees.

  1. Continuous Improvement & Data Governance

 Monitor ML model performance, accuracy drift, and retraining schedules.

 Establish governance for data quality, versioning, and model lifecycle

management (MLOps).

 Drive A/B testing, pilot rollouts, and adoption analysis for AI features in

production.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related

field.

 Proven experience in AI/ML product management or leading data-driven

initiatives in mobility, IoT, or connected platforms.

 Deep understanding of machine learning workflows – data engineering, model

development, validation, and deployment.

 Working familiarity with ML frameworks and cloud services (AWS Sagemaker,

Azure ML, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

 Experience in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and analytics

interpretation.

 Strong skills in requirement definition, stakeholder alignment, and Agile

delivery.

 Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical

audiences.

Good to Have:

 Knowledge of automotive domain – CAN data, telematics, ECU logs, sensor

fusion, predictive diagnostics.

 Exposure to Edge AI, digital twins, or rider personalization features.

 Familiarity with data security, compliance, and ethical AI frameworks.

 Hands-on understanding of Python-based analytics or SQL for data insights.
