What we are looking for We are looking for a highly motivated individual contributor Sr.Test Engineer with 4+ years of experience in the IT industry, with good knowledge of functional and automation testing. The candidate must be well acquainted with QA processes and best practices. He/she must possess excellent testing skills as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
What you'll be doing The candidate will perform functional and automation testing to ensure the quality of the product that is delivered to customers. The candidate will participate with the rest of the QA team to test and validate software with a  high bar for quality. Review and analyze system specificationsCreate detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test casesExecute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse resultsPerform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolvedDesign, develop and execute automation scriptsWork with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Skills you need in order to succeed in this role Must-Have: Technical/ BehavioralBachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or similar.Must have 4+ years of experience in functional Testing (Manual, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Database Testing)Must have exposure to Automation testing with exposure to Java technologyStrong analytical skills and high aptitude to learn and adapt to new processesGood written and verbal communication skillsGood understanding of Agile development processesExposure of working on API Testing Good understanding of automation frameworks – Behavior Driven, Data DrivenISTQB foundation/CSQA level training, or any other external certifications on QA/TestingMust be a self-starter, and able to work independently and as a part of a team.
