Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Snowflake architecture, data warehousing principles, and modern ETL/ELT pipelines. You will work closely with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure reliable, high-performance data availability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data warehouse solutions using
    Snowflake
    .
  • Develop and optimize
    ETL/ELT pipelines
    for ingestion, transformation, and loading of structured and semi-structured data.
  • Create and maintain
    Snowflake objects
    —schemas, databases, stages, warehouses, streams, tasks, and stored procedures.
  • Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms and tools such as
    AWS, Azure, GCP, DBT, Airflow, Fivetran, Informatica
    , etc.
  • Monitor performance and optimize warehouse cost, storage, and query efficiency.
  • Implement data governance, security, and access controls including
    RBAC, masking policies, row-level security
    , etc.
  • Collaborate with analytics, BI, and application teams to deliver clean, reliable data models.
  • Troubleshoot performance and data quality issues, ensuring high system reliability.
  • Document data flows, architecture, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Snowflake Data Warehouse
    .
  • Proficiency in
    SQL
    , data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema), and performance tuning.
  • Experience with
    ETL/ELT tools
    , data integration frameworks, and cloud ingestion services.
  • Familiarity with
    cloud platforms
    (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Knowledge of Snowflake features such as
    Time Travel, Cloning, Micro-partitions, Streams & Tasks
    .
  • Experience in handling structured and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, Avro).
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and best practices.
  • Ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with
    DBT
    ,
    Airflow
    , or other orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of
    Python
    or other scripting languages.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
