Job Role: We are looking for a Manual Tester with strong API testing and a basic understanding of compliance rules to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, have a solid foundation in manual testing practices, and be comfortable working directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of applications to ensure functionality and quality.

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective testing solutions.

• Work independently as an Individual Contributor (IC), taking ownership of assigned tasks.

• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to provide updates, report issues, and clarify requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Having strong experience in manual testing of web applications including functional and integration testing.

• Hands on experience of using Microsoft Excel for data management, validation using basic excel formula.

• Proficient with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with test management tool JIRA.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven experience working independently as an Individual Contributor.

• Good to have experience in writing basic SQL queries for data validation.

• Good to have prior mobile testing experience.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong in manual testing concepts, including test case design, execution, defect lifecycle, and regression testing.
  • Basic in SQL, with the ability to write and execute complex queries for data validation and backend testing.
  • Basic understanding of compliance rules (e.g., data privacy, regulatory standards) and their relevance to testing processes.
  • Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written – must be capable of independently handling client interactions and status reporting.
  • Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test cases and scenarios.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
