Role & responsibilities:-

  • Development and further enhancement of user interface concepts and interface designs to elevate our software applications to the next level.
  • Conducting user research, including the creation of personas and the application of user-centered design principles to meet user expectations and requirements.
  • Designing visual elements, layouts, and navigation structures to promote simple and intuitive user interactions.
  • Creation of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for internal reviews and usability testing.
  • Execution of tests to gather feedback and subsequent adaptation of the design to optimize the user experience.
  • Development and maintenance of design systems, style guides, and design guidelines to ensure a consistent user experience across all software modules.
  • Consideration of relevant standards and guidelines in the design of user interfaces in the mechanical engineering field.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively present design concepts and decisions to internal stakeholders and teams.

Technical Skills:-

  • Extensive experience in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and user interface design.
  • Proficient in common design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with Lean UX and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with user testing and feedback loops.
  • Knowledge in developing and maintaining design systems, style guides, and design guidelines to ensure a consistent user experience across all products and platforms

Preferred candidate profile:-

  • 2 years of experience as a UX/UI designer, ideally in Mechanical Engineering environment.
  • Hands on experience with Human Machine Interface (HMI) will be an added advantage.
