Job Description

We are looking for a skilled 
Senior Manual Test Engineer
 with strong hands-on experience in 
API Testing
 and good exposure to 
Playwright
. The candidate will be responsible for validating complex features, ensuring end-to-end quality, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and prepare comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Perform 
    Manual Testing
     across functional, regression, integration, and system levels.
  • Conduct 
    API Testing
     using tools like 
    Postman
    , 
    Swagger
    , and validate responses using SQL queries.
  • Work with 
    Playwright
     for basic automation scripting/execution (nice to have).
  • Identify defects, document them clearly, and track them to closure using JIRA or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams for requirement clarifications and test coverage.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Provide guidance to junior testers and contribute to QA best practices

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Strong expertise in 
    Manual Testing
     with deep understanding of STLC & SDLC.
  • Mandatory experience in 
    API Testing
     (Postman, REST APIs, JSON validation).
  • Hands-on SQL knowledge for backend data validation.
  • Good understanding of 
    Playwright
     (test execution/debugging; scripting is a plus).
  • Experience with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to automation frameworks using Playwright.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines or version control (Git).
