Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Payroll and Non-Payroll statutory requirements across multiple acts and labour laws.

  • Conduct audits of establishments, vendors, and contractors regarding:

  • Payroll compliances: PF, ESI, PT, LWF

  • Non-payroll compliances: Payment of Wages Act, Bonus Act, Maternity Benefit Act, Equal Remuneration Act, POSH, Shops & Establishments Act, Minimum Wages Act, Employee Compensation Act, etc.

  • Prepare detailed compliance audit reports and coordinate with external agencies for statutory audits.

  • Drive closure of non-conformances in audits and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Manage forms, registers, and statutory filings under applicable labour laws.
  • Handle annual and quarterly returns filing under Shops & Establishment Acts and other relevant legislations.
  • Carry out registrations, amendments, surrender, and closure activities under Shops & Establishments, Trade License, CLRA, PF, ESI, PT & LWF across multiple states/PAN India.
  • Ensure timely remittances (PT, LWF) and statutory returns filing.
  • Handle labour law notices, inspections, and assessments related to payroll and non-payroll compliances.
  • Assist clients with day-to-day compliance-related tasks and support in closure of compliance gaps.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Payroll & Non-Payroll compliances and related statutory acts.
  • Hands-on experience in audit preparation, statutory filings, registers maintenance, and compliance inspections.
  • Familiarity with labour laws across multiple states in India.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as per requirement.
  • Good communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
