Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer with expertise in copper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design efforts for one of our major Telecom projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of telecom solutions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Quality Check on Design Prints from each and every aspect.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and performance of proposed designs.
  • Ensure compliance with General and Regional standards, regulations, and best practices in telecom design.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to define design objectives and specifications.
  • Provide Feedback to the Designers on Errors.
  • Support Manager on plans to Improve the Quality of Designers.
  • Keep Organized Data of files that has been through Quality Check.
  • Keep Compliance with Pearce Database for Project Milestone Dates

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in FTTX (G-PON) designing and Knowledge on Reading Copper Networks and understanding of Copper Terminology.
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling various job types such as ASE, F1, FTTP, and IFP.
  • Hands-on experience with ARAMIS-DT, a valuable tool for efficient project management and quality assurance.
  • In-depth familiarity with various portals, including APEX, IMAGINE, MIC, XNG, and NOVA, AOTX, USH, LFACS, CEOOT.
  • Experience of working on ACR/CAPR Reports, knowledge of Working Pairs.
  • A thorough understanding/experience in the Outside Plant telecom industry, public right-of-way, private easements, existing utilities such as water, sewer, electric, gas, and other underground and aerial utilities.
  • A good understanding on the Requirement on Permits and Jurisdiction Requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on data and insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as need to communicate with overseas team.
  • Proven experience in FTTH/ BAU will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education and Experience Requirement:

Minimum 2 years of experience in Copper or Roadmove Projects.

Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Communication/Telecommunicates/ Civil/Mechanical or related field.
