Preferred Candidate Profile:

Strong Engineering and Technical skills, Maintenance Management, Analytical Skill, EHS, Spares Inventory Management, Engineering Standards Deployment, New Vendor Development. Expert on Mechanical systems and basic knowledge on Electrical/Civil/Instrumentation.

Role & Responsibilities:

• To plan & implement the preventive maintenance of plant machineries and utility.
• Ensure highest level of asset availability of Utility Equipments (Compressors/Chillers/RODM water treatment plants/MEE-ETP-STP etc) Process/Manufacturing Skids, and Material Handling equipments (Forklifts. Reach Trucks, Dock Levelers/HOPTs etc).
• Operation and Maintenance of Engineering Utilities (Compressors/Chillers/RODM water treatment plants/MEE-ETP-STP (Wastewater Treatment plants/DGs/HVAC/Boilers/Tank Farms).
• Ensuring compliance and safe usage of Lifting Tools and Tackles, Hot Work (Welding/Cutting) and ensuring effective Preventive Maintenance of Engineering components viz., Hydraulic/Pneumatic/Vacuum Systems, Drive Systems (Gearboxes, Chain/Belt Drives, Conveyors, motors), Pumping System (Pumps, Manufacturing vessels and associated accessories), Others (Fans/Blowers/AHUs/Scrubbers/Couplings/Bearings/alignments).
• Develop, built and make available in the organization the Product, Process and Packaging Expertise relevant to the asset base.
• Ensuring both Preventive and Predictive maintenance of all equipment's and other installations.
• Performing Root Cause Analysis for breakdowns/repetitive problems and ensuring implementation of tools like 4M, ECRS, WWA, RCM, SMED etc.
• Working with cross-functional teams like Packaging, Supply Excellence, Quality, HSE, Production, Engineering and Logistics.
• Conduct Safety/Quality Risk Assessments (HAZOP/CTI-THA/LRA/HACCP) and ensuring PPE/Engineering Control compliances.
• Maintain the history card of the equipment and analyze the failure trend.
• Ensuring the breakdown of process and utility equipments is attended and minimized.
• Use of RCA and CI tools to improve the OEE and minimize the breakdown.
• To implement various requirements of production for enhanced productivity.
• Work towards continuous Improvements of quality, cost reduction safety standards and EHS standards and X Trim Idea implementation for Plant
• To implement various projects for economizing the utilities.
• Identify maintenance needs of up gradation and initiate corrective actions.
• To generate, monitor & collect various data on utilities for analysis, aiming best of economy line & initiate the activities to achieve this.
• To manage effectively procurement, usage and replacement of engineering spares & consumables.
• Ensure all EHS standards and guidelines are followed at the shop floor.
• To follow organization safety guidelines, precautions, Rules and regulations.
• To mobilize & motivate assistants & workers, to ensure machine availability & minimize down time.
• Coordinate for mechanical & civil related repair & maintenance jobs, so that in the planned shutdown times, targets are achieved.
• Implement Capex related Job at site and ensure proper execution with documentation.
• To supervise various contract Job, with precise requirement and adherence to the specifications.
• Interact with outside suppliers for various maintenance activities and implementation of new ideas.
• Maintain the documents and record of relevant SOPs and documentation of other engineering document compliances related to the plant
• Ensure manufacturing equipment and packing lines equipment availability and minimize down time to utilize equipment at optimum capacity.
• Participate in budget predation of R&M spares consumption & utility. Collecting quotations, raise purchase requisitions, and purchase material within budget value. Monthly Monitoring and Maintenance of Spares.
• To receive the material from supplier as per the PO. Ensure Availability of Critical Spares for Plant equipments, WTP and ETP for smooth running without any issue.
• New equipment installation as per IMS requirements. Prepare risk Assessment, and verification protocols.
• Responsible for the H&S of the all the workmen and adhering EHS policy while execution. Also, to ensure safety standards are used which comply with all company guidelines at onsite. Specifically responsible for contractor safety.
• Responsible to ensure HR & Legal compliance related to contractors.
• Ensure compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
