About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer L2 to join our support team. This role will work closely with our L3 Cloud Infrastructure Engineers, focusing on the deployment, configuration, and operational support of our mixed cloud (AWS and Azure) and on-premise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing deployment plans, maintaining systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our critical infrastructure under the guidance of senior engineers. This position is crucial for maintaining the stability and efficiency of our systems and ensuring adherence to established best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute deployment plans and configurations for cloud-based (AWS and Azure) and on-premise infrastructure components as directed by L3 engineers.
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades of infrastructure systems.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and security using established tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Respond to alerts and incidents, performing initial troubleshooting and escalation to L3 engineers as needed.
• Assist in the implementation and management of security controls, including network security groups, IAM policies, and basic WAF configurations.
• Support data protection activities for consumer data, including monitoring backups and assisting with recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with L3 engineers and development teams to ensure successful application deployments and infrastructure readiness.
• Maintain documentation for deployed systems, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical incident response as required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and automation scripts.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of authentication mechanisms (e.g., LDAP integration) and MFA solutions.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure or cloud operations, with exposure to AWS and/or Azure.
• Foundational knowledge of AWS core services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Foundational knowledge of Azure core services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Virtual Network (VNet), and Azure Monitor.
• Basic understanding of mixed infrastructure environments (on-premise and cloud).
• Experience with basic command-line operations in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation of routine tasks.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, subnets, routing, firewalls, VPNs).
• Exposure to security concepts and best practices, including access control and data encryption.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and deployment guides accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience working in an Agile methodology is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate-level cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate).
• Experience with Docker and container deployment (e.g., AWS ECS, Azure Container Instances).
• Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts (e.g., Terraform).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipeline concepts.
• Familiarity with LDAP or Active Directory for authentication.
• Awareness of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) concepts.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹900,000.00 per year
