Role description

The Senior AWS Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable applications hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The role involves deploying, configuring, and maintaining Unix-based servers (preferably SUSE and Red Hat) as the foundation for AWS environments. Experience working in GxP-compliant environments will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing AWS architectures.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Unix servers (SUSE and Red Hat preferred) to support AWS environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and efficient cloud operations.
  • Implement automation and monitoring solutions to improve efficiency and system reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application performance issues.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and best practices are followed across all AWS deployments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.
Key Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud design, deployment, and administration.
  • Hands-on experience with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Strong experience in Unix/Linux system administration (SUSE and Red Hat preferred).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CLI.
  • Understanding of networking, security, and automation in AWS environments.
  • Experience with GxP-compliant systems will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
