Position Summary

Level: Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions

Work you'll do:

As an AWS Infra Architect Senior Consultant, you will lead discussions with business and functional analysts to understand requirements and assess integration impacts on the enterprise architecture. You'll prepare detailed technical architecture and design documentation, clarify complex requirements, and resolve ambiguities, ensuring all solutions align with established standards and best practices. You will develop, deploy, and optimize AWS infrastructure leveraging automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and native AWS services. Your responsibilities include enforcing technical design and development guidelines, facilitating scrum meetings, managing technical deliverables, and preparing status reports for leadership. You'll review deliverables, provide technical guidance to the team, and design templates or scripts to automate operations. Collaboration with onsite clients, analysts, and global cross-functional teams will be key to delivering resilient, secure, and high-performing AWS environments for Deloitte's clients.

At Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure we deliver solutions spanning Hybrid Cloud, Advanced Connectivity, AI Data Centers, High-Performance Computing, and AI Infrastructure to help clients achieve their desired outcomes. Our offerings include engineered transformation services for hybrid cloud infrastructure and platforms, prioritizing resiliency, optimization, and extensive automation. We integrate advanced connectivity with AI infrastructure and enterprise networks to boost operational efficiency and enable real-time data processing. Additionally, we provide comprehensive management of all facets of operations for hybrid cloud infrastructure and field operations.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 6–10 years of hands-on experience in architecting, designing, and implementing AWS infrastructure solutions.
• Experience in developing scalable, highly available, and resilient architectures using AWS services (e.g., VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Strong understanding of network design within AWS, hybrid cloud scenarios, and integration with on-premise environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Hands-on automation experience using scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) and CI/CD tools.
• Proven experience leading technical discussions with clients, translating business needs into technical requirements, and producing high-quality architectural documents.
• Strong skills in ensuring cloud security, governance, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, with experience in sprint planning, tracking, and status reporting.
• Experience mentoring and providing technical leadership to junior team members.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technology and business stakeholders.
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification (at least one required).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• Experience with container orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes) or serverless architectures.
• Exposure to other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and hybrid/multi-cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools (Jenkins, Git, Ansible, etc.).
• Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) relevant to cloud deployments.
• AWS Advanced/Specialty certifications (e.g., Security, DevOps, Networking).

Education:

• BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university

Location:

• Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai/Kolkata

Shift Timings:

• 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST as per business requirements
