Role Summary:
As an Inside Sales Executive, you will be the bridge between pet parents and our grooming and pet care services. You'll handle inbound and outbound communication, manage order scheduling, track payments, and ensure seamless coordination between customers and service providers. Your role will focus on lead conversion, customer experience, and operational efficiency while maintaining a strong follow-up and consultative approach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inbound & Outbound Communication
● Handle inbound calls, WhatsApp, website, and social media inquiries promptly.
● Conduct outbound calls for lead follow-ups, service confirmations, renewals, and feedback.
● Manage multi-channel communication through Exotel, CRM, and WhatsApp Business.
● Maintain a minimum daily combined talk time of 3 hours to drive conversions and engagement.
2. Order Scheduling & Coordination
● Plan and schedule grooming and pet care services efficiently across teams and zones.
● Match customers with the most suitable groomers/trainers/hosts based on requirements.
● Manage reschedules, cancellations, and urgent service requests.
● Ensure timely communication between customers, groomers, and logistics teams.
3. Payment & Order Tracking:
● Monitor payments and ensure accurate invoicing and timely collection.
● Track order progress from booking to completion, ensuring high service quality.
● Coordinate with the finance and operations teams for payment reconciliation. 4. Customer Experience & Relationship Management
● Deliver a consultative sales experience—guide customers on service options, packages, and pricing.
● Collect and act on customer feedback to ensure satisfaction and service improvement.
● Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
5. Reporting & Insights:
● Maintain accurate records of leads, bookings, and payments in CRM and Google Sheets.
● Prepare daily/weekly reports on calls, conversions, payments, and service performance.
● Identify trends and suggest process improvements for better conversion and retention.
6. Collaboration & Ownership:
● Work closely with the operations and core team to ensure smooth service execution.
● Take full ownership of your targets and contribute to overall business growth.
● Participate in regular reviews, training sessions, and cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements:
● Graduate (Business, Sales, Marketing preferred).
● 2–4 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or operations (startup/service industry preferred).
● Proven ability to manage both inbound and outbound sales efficiently.
● Fluent in English and (Kannada/Hindi a plus); excellent verbal and written communication.
● Proficient in CRM tools, Google Sheets/Excel, Exotel, and WhatsApp for Business.
● Highly organized, ownership-driven, and detail-oriented.
