Senior Tableau Expert

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tableau expert to build, optimize, and maintain complex, business-critical dashboards. Your primary data sources will include Salesforce and Google Analytics (GA4), along with additional internal and third-party datasets. You will own the end-to-end BI lifecycle—from data prep and modelling to visualization, performance tuning, governance, and stakeholder enablement—while providing clear, actionable insights to business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Leadership to translate business questions into well-defined BI requirements and prototype dashboards quickly.
• Connect, blend, and model data from Salesforce, GA4, spreadsheets, databases, and APIs; design robust semantic layers for reuse in Tableau.
• Build advanced Tableau dashboards and analytics products using LOD expressions, parameters, actions, set controls, row-level security, and optimized extracts/live connections.
• Develop clean, consistent data models and marts; document business logic, KPI definitions, and data lineage.
• Optimize workbook performance through query tuning, extract strategies, and visualization best practices; monitor and troubleshoot data refreshes and subscriptions.
• Implement and administer Tableau Server/Cloud artifacts, including projects, permissions, schedules, and certifications; champion content governance and version control.
• Deliver clear, concise insights: trend analysis, funnel diagnostics, cohort views, attribution and campaign performance, lead and pipeline health, product and web engagement.
• Establish QA checks and automated data validations; resolve data quality issues with upstream owners.
• Enable self-service: publish certified data sources, create how-to guides, and run enablement sessions for business users.
• Collaborate with data engineers to define schemas, pipelines, and SLAs; contribute to backlog and sprint planning with realistic estimations.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience building complex Tableau dashboards and data products for enterprise stakeholders.
• Proven expertise with Salesforce data (Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Activities, custom objects) and GA4, including BigQuery exports or GA4 API connectors.
• Strong SQL skills for data prep, transformations, window functions, and performance tuning in at least one data warehouse or RDBMS (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Proficiency with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud administration; working knowledge of Tableau Prep or equivalent ETL tooling.
• Demonstrated use of advanced Tableau features: LOD calculations, table calculations, parameter actions, set actions, RLS, custom tooltips, and dashboard performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of marketing and sales analytics: web and campaign KPIs, funnels, attribution basics, lead scoring, pipeline and forecast metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate technical concepts into business language and tell compelling data stories.
• Current Tableau certification(s) such as Tableau Data Analyst or Tableau Desktop Specialist; Tableau Server certification is a strong plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience orchestrating data pipelines with dbt, Airflow, or similar.
• Familiarity with Python or R for light analytics and statistical tests.
• Exposure to Salesforce CRM Analytics, Looker, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of marketing platforms and connectors (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, HubSpot, Marketo).
• Background in A/B testing analysis, forecasting, and anomaly detection.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000, ₹1,500,000.00 per year
