Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced SQL Developer with strong skills in PostgreSQL and Oracle databases. The role involves writing complex queries, validating data during deployments, and supporting both manual and automated testing teams. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of backend data and smooth deployment of configuration changes across systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Write, review, and optimize complex SQL queries, joins, and validation scripts in PostgreSQL and Oracle.
  • Validate script-driven deployments, ensuring updates to menu items, pricing, and configurations are correctly applied.
  • Set up test data, perform rollback checks, and verify deployment results.
  • Work closely with QA engineers and test automation teams to identify and resolve data-related issues.
  • Identify and report data anomalies during and after deployment cycles.
  • Prepare reports using tools like Excel or Jira for deployment status, validation results, and issue tracking.
  • Use tools such as pgAdmin, Oracle SQL Developer, and Loadmill for validation and data checks.
  • Participate in planning and support activities for configuration changes and deployments.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and Oracle database development.
  • Expert in writing complex SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and validation scripts
  • Experience in validating configuration deployments and ensuring data accuracy post-deployment
  • Familiarity with test data setup, rollback validation, and deployment result verification
  • Comfortable working with QA/test engineers to troubleshoot and verify test data and deployment issues
  • Experience using PostgreSQL tools, Excel, and Jira for reporting and analysis.
  • Awareness of using Loadmill or similar tools for validation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic understanding of Workshop script behavior and deployment lifecycle.
  • Exposure to scripting or automation for data validation tasks.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments.
