The Facilities Engineer is the culmination of all the skills and resources of a confirmed Coordinated Facility Management with MEP expertise & soft service exposure.

Responsible for day to day operations delivery and risk analysis, understanding of various vendor contract delivery methods, timely problem identification, resolution, facility management tools and processes at high and low complexity levels.

You have a strong emphasis on prioritising multiple site operation tasks including ensuring consistent delivery at the highest performance level for soft and hard services, you must also have a sound understanding of Time, Cost, Risk and Quality management through end to end operational ownership.

Ability to act fast on their feet whilst looking after multiple Apple partners and internal delivery steams.

This person will also assist in the development of the overall site delivery including CAPEX/OPEX budgeting and resource planning.

• As a Facility Engineer, you will be responsible for all operational duties on Engineering perspective within the Complex that are consistent with regional priorities and encouraged ends/results. The candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role with rich experience of services.

• Day to day management of all installed Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, MEP) systems for the Sites handled by RE&D.

• Leadership and accountability for delivery, management and maintenance of all site services, including; Collaborating with Apple LOB, RE&D and their nominated internal / external vendors /partners. Hands-on provision of comprehensive Facility Management tools for soft & hard services.

• Lead single or multiple, simple to sophisticated facility operations, Alignment to the use of established protocols, tools and processes. Lead internal and external vendors delivering soft and hard services.

• Ensure Apples operations and infrastructure are balanced and maintained to the highest level, including internal and external building components.

• Own the financial control on Operation expense including Budget planning, Forecast tracking, regular Opex/Capex review.

• Handling from Operation and Engineering perspective to participate and contribute into Site handover, Design review, Testing and commissioning and acceptance, Project handover for all new corporate Real Estate projects and initiatives handled by RE&D.

• Follow-up with Apple customers on site services delivery tracking, issues/risks and results, ensure vendors compliance with agreed SLA's and KPI's. Development of IFM, tools, standards, policies, guidelines and processes related to India Facility Management standards.

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience qualified in related field e.g. Facility Management / Engineering.
• Experience in Contract / Operations Management experience.
• 6 years in Facility Management.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing and executing of technical services including MEP, fire, furniture etc.

• Understanding LEED/Wellness/BREEAM/Green Star or other industry recognised green / balanced practices.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Ability to influence key partners, participate in calls with members of our global RE&D team taking into account a range of time-zone requirements.
• Ability to travel throughout India and International markets when required by the business.
• Willing to work in shifts, especially night shifts on regular basis.
• Related supervisory experience running full-scale FM team and Experience in Contract / Operations Management experience.
• Ability to connect and lead dispersed internal / external teams including project teams.
• Experience with high end local and international technology.
• Passionate about customer service and end-user experience.
• Validated self-starter and highly motivated FM practitioner.
• Possess some knowledge of office design, construction and project management.
