Job Responsibilities

· Collaborates closely with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of user requirements.

· Develops and implements a robust QA strategy that aligns seamlessly with both project goals and business needs.

· Reviews and ensures the creation of detailed test plans, verifying that the necessary resources, timelines, and processes are in place to achieve project objectives

· Defines the scope of testing, covering both functional and non-functional requirements, while effectively managing testing resources.

· Defines and enforces best practices, processes, and tools for efficient quality management, continuously evaluating and improving these practices as necessary.

· Establishes key quality metrics to measure the success of the QA process, including defect density, test coverage, and defect resolution time.

· Ensures the creation, review, and effective execution of detailed test cases, covering functional, regression, performance, and security tests.

· Oversees the execution of tests, ensuring they are completed on time, with accuracy, and meet the defined quality standards.

· Coordinates with the development team to ensure the timely resolution of critical defects.

· Delivers regular test progress reports to stakeholders, encompassing test results, issues, risks, and coverage.

· Identifies and manages potential quality risks, including those related to defect resolution, test coverage, and product deadlines.

· Proactively identifies potential risks that may impact the project timeline or product delivery, such as missed test cases or resource shortages.

· Test Automation Strategy: When automation is part of the testing process, defines the strategy, selecting which tests to automate, identifying the appropriate tools, and ensuring the ongoing maintenance of the automation framework.
