Job Summary:We are seeking a passionate and skilled

Commis 2 Chef with hands-on experience in

Chinese cooking and expertise in preparing momos (dumplings). The candidate will assist the senior chefs in preparing various Chinese dishes while focusing on the consistent quality and presentation of momos.

Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook momos (steamed, fried, tandoori, or pan-fried) including dough, stuffing, and folding techniques.Assist with preparation and cooking of other Chinese dishes like noodles, fried rice, soups, and stir-fries.Maintain daily mise en place, ensuring freshness and readiness of ingredients.Ensure food is prepared according to standard recipes and hygiene standards.Support Commis 1 and Chef de Partie in the kitchen as required.Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all ingredients.Keep work area clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines strictly.Report stock shortages, spoilage, or equipment issues to supervisors.

Key Skills & Requirements:Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent preferred.1–2 years of experience in a Chinese/Asian kitchen, preferably with momo preparation.Strong knowledge of momo dough, fillings (veg & non-veg), shaping, and steaming/frying techniques.Familiarity with Chinese sauces, condiments, and ingredients.Basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen safety procedures.Good communication skills and team spirit.Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.Preferred Experience:Prior work in a street food, Asian bistro, or hotel restaurant known for momos or Chinese cuisine.Experience using commercial steamers or tandoors for momo variations.

Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods.Comfortable working in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.Capable of lifting and moving food containers and supplies.

Pay: ₹19, ₹20,610.75 per month
