About the Position

This role offers an opportunity for Senior-level candidates to expand their talents by participating directly in the testing of our SaaS product. Individual visibility within the team is high, and opportunities for rapid advancement exist. You would be directly working with our microservices/products using manual and automated testing procedures in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment on products with a rapid time to market. Must have sound understanding of testing and various concepts for implementation.

Skills to perform responsibilities:

• Expertise in Automation Frameworks

• Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks Selenium, TestNG are must though Cypress, Playwright are good to have.

• Comfortable generating complex test datasets using SQL and scripting; basic query skills required..

• Experience in Agile environments and tools like Jira, Confluence, and version control systems (Git/Subversion).

• Strong Programming Skills

• Advanced proficiency in the Java programming language is a must. Python, JavaScript, or C# are good to have.

• Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and reusable test scripts.

• Comprehensive Understanding of QA Principles

• Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, testing strategies, and SDLC/Agile practices.

• Skilled in identifying edge cases, writing test plans, and creating detailed test reports.

• API Testing and Automation

• Expertise in testing and automating RESTful and GraphQL APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.

• Ability to validate API security, including authentication/authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT).

• Performance and Scalability Testing

• Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.

• Ability to identify bottlenecks and validate that the SaaS solution scales under peak loads.

• Advanced Debugging and Troubleshooting

• Proficient in diagnosing issues in distributed systems by analyzing logs, metrics, and network traces.

• Experience with observability tools like , Splunk, or Grafana for identifying root causes can be a good add-on.

• Strong Collaboration and Documentation Skills

• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to align on testing strategies, security requirements, and best practices.

• Skilled in writing clear documentation, mentoring junior team members, and advocating for a security-first mindset
• Skilled in developing new test cases, stress tests, security checks, and custom libraries for automated testing.

• B.E/B.Tech/ M.Tech from a top-tier college
• 4-6 years of experience in a product development environment
• Strong testing aptitude to quickly learn and become a power user of the Naehas platform
• Develop and maintain test plans, manual and automated test scripts for user interface, functionality, system and "ad-hoc testing"
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey strategies and complex information effectively within all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated leadership ability to effectively work with cross functional teams
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
