For over 50 years, FG Wilson generator sets have been trusted to provide essential power to a wide range of applications globally. From 6.8 to 2,500 kVA, FG Wilson offers one of the widest ranges of diesel-fuelled generator sets, built in modern facilities in Brazil, China, and India.
Founded in Belfast, United Kingdom, in 1966, FG Wilson quickly grew to become the largest generator set manufacturer in Europe. Todays range of FG Wilson generator sets builds on our long heritage. We do not simply assemble a generator set; we walk the extra mile to make sure that all our products are tested and validated in modern world-class facilities, in order to deliver the best performance and longevity to each one of our customers.
We are currently searching for FG Wilson Global Commercial Director located either in Belfast, UK (preferred), or Beijing, China, or Aurangabad, India. This senior leader will lead EUR 300 M P&L with 70 employees globally, ensuring to deliver double-digit growth both in top and bottom line. FGW Global Commercial Director will report to Caterpillar EPD Vice President.
What You Will Do:- Own end to end commercial P&L of FGW
- Ensure double-digit growth on top and bottom line
- Lead organization of 70 employees globally including Sales, Service, Marketing, Product Management, product support and other business functions
- Establish and nurture executive relationships with key customers
- Deliver on assigned financial and non-financial targets
- Establish and execute on FGW Commercial Strategy 2030
- Coach and develop key talents within FGW organization
- Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
- Business Development: Knowledge of business development tools, techniques, and approaches; ability to explore and develop potential areas of business growth for the organization.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Bachelor degree in technical field or business is required
- Master degree or/and MBA will be considered an advantage
- 10 years Sales experience
- 5 years on management medium / large Team
- Good knowledge of distributed power generation market
- Technical understanding of diesel genset / recipe (up to 2.5 MWe) will be considered an advantage
- This position is located in Belfast, UK (preferred), or Beijing, China, or Aurangabad, India
- Ability / willingness to travel from 50 PERCENT up to 75 PERCENT
- English language (C2 or mother tongue) is required
- Additional Information: This job requires 5 days working from office.
- Relocation is available for this position.
