Role & responsibilities

  • Experience in Upgrade of SAP S4 systems from one version to other version
  • Understanding the SAP landscape
  • Basis teams have a deep understanding of the existing SAP system configuration data landscape and integrations
  • Bridging the gap between teams
  • Basis teams can act as a bridge between the internal IT team and SAPs managed services team Orchestrating the migration
  • Expertise in migration strategies to assess network connectivity and bandwidth requirements
  • Incorporate downtime optimization techniques
  • Use the right tools
  • Performing the migration using a variety of techniques including
  • SAP SUM Database Migration Option SUM DMO with System Move
  • SAP DMOVE2S4
  • Homogenous DMO
  • Expertise in Backup and restore
  • Should have experience in HANA System Replication
  • Should have DB Management for SAP Systems
  • Should have SAP Basis Advanced Operation,
  • Should have SAP Basis Core and SAP Performance Management,
  • Should have good Knowledge in SAP System Migrations, SAP System Setup and SAP System Upgrades
