Role Description

Regulatory & RBI Compliance

§ 
Ensure full compliance with RBI guidelines, FEMA, AML, KYC, and other applicable laws and regulations.

§ 
Prepare and submit periodic reports, returns, and filings to RBI and other regulatory bodies within stipulated timelines.

§ 
Keep track of changes in RBI circulars, master directions, and notifications; disseminate updates to relevant departments.

§ 
Conduct compliance audits and ensure closure of audit observations within the required timeframe.

§ 
Review and maintain all documentation and licenses required by RBI and other authorities.

Risk Management

§ 
Develop and implement enterprise-wide risk management policies and procedures.

§ 
Identify, assess, and monitor key operational, credit, market, and compliance risks.

§ 
Prepare periodic risk assessment reports and present them to management.

§ 
Establish internal controls to mitigate identified risks and ensure their ongoing effectiveness.

§ 
Conduct due diligence and risk reviews for business partners, clients, and major transactions.

Internal Controls & Governance

§ 
Design and review internal control frameworks for branches and departments.

§ 
Liaise with internal and external auditors for risk and compliance-related audits.

§ 
Support the management in implementing risk mitigation strategies and compliance culture across all levels.

Training & Awareness

§ 
Conduct regular compliance and risk management training sessions for employees.

§ 
Promote a compliance-oriented culture within the organization through communication and awareness initiatives.

Qualifications

§ Education: Graduate / Post Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or related field.

§ Professional certifications such as CA, CS, CFA, FRM, or Certification in Compliance / Risk Management preferred.

§ Experience: 5–8 years of experience in risk management and RBI compliance, preferably in a Forex, NBFC, or Financial Services company.

Knowledge:

§ Deep understanding of RBI regulations, FEMA, AML, KYC, and related compliance requirements.

§ Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and regulatory reporting tools.

§ Working knowledge of internal audit and control frameworks.
