We have an urgent opening for Manager/Senior Manager - Contracts based at our Head Office in Noida.

Position- Manager/Sr Manager-Contracts

Location- Noida Sec 10

Educational Qualification - B.Tech in Civil Engineering, LLB will be and added advantage

Experience Required Years

Role & responsibilities

  • Needs to have experience in pre-bid scrutiny of the bid documents, analysing the risk, suggesting the suitable measures to mitigate the risk in terms of taxes/duties, price basis, liquidated damages, warranties/guarantees, performance guarantees, limitation of liabilities, insurance, bank guarantees/insurance bond etc
  • Needs to have experience in post bid and post contract award in terms of ascertaining the breaches, its consequences and raising the claims.
  • Writing contractual letters, raising the various issues cropped up during the execution and post execution of the contract in terms of seeking time extensions, bank guarantees, warranties, other liabilities, price variations/adjustments, familiar with various indices applicable,.
  • Exposure of settling the matter and claims amicably and via arbitration as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
  • Exposure of dealing the matter in NCLT/NCLAT and in other courts related to contractual and commercial disputes.
  • Exposure to various types of agreement normally involved in EPC contracts.
  • Knowledge about various acts/laws applicable in dealing the contracts
