Job Title: CAD Engineer (Civil) – with Sketching Skills

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Civil CAD Engineer with strong technical expertise and sketching skills to support our design and visualization projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in civil drafting, detailing, and 3D modeling, along with the ability to translate design concepts into accurate and visually clear CAD drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for civil and architectural projects.

Convert conceptual sketches and layouts into precise CAD drawings.

Support project teams in preparing design documentation, plans, and construction drawings.

Create accurate site plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings as per design requirements.

Collaborate with design, architecture, and project management teams to ensure design intent and technical feasibility.

Revise and update drawings based on feedback or design modifications.

Maintain organized design documentation and CAD libraries.

Use sketching (hand or digital) to communicate design concepts clearly during planning stages.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar CAD software.

Strong sketching and visualization skills (manual or digital).

Understanding of civil and structural design principles, materials, and construction methods.

Knowledge of drafting standards, building codes, and detailing practices.

High attention to detail with accuracy in measurements and layouts.

Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in CAD drafting/design within civil or architectural domains.

Exposure to rendering or visualization tools (SketchUp, Lumion, or similar) is an advantage.
