We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Design Engineer to join our team. The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating precise and detailed 2D and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software to assist in the development of products and systems. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience needed.Key Responsibilities:Create accurate 2D and 3D models and technical drawings using CAD softwareCollaborate with operations team members to identify areas for improvement related to design on current productsCollaborate with process engineers, and product engineers to understand design specifications and requirementsRevise designs based on feedback and ensured that design changes are properly documentedEnsure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policiesConduct design reviews and provide feedback to improve the design processCommunicate design proposals with internal and external stakeholdersAssist in the preparation of project documentation, including design reports, cost estimates, and timelinesEnsure the accuracy and quality of all CAD drawings and design filesGood understanding of plastics design and plastic processingHands on experience in design hand calculations, Design Best Practices, DFMEASoft Skills:Good business communication (written & verbal)Exposure/experience working in a global engineering team environmentTeam player, flexibility in adapting to changeProblem solving approachEducation: BTech/ BS/ MTech in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 3 to 5 yearsFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
