Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 3+ years of manual testing experience to join our product team. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to handle end-to-end testing for assigned features or modules. This role is well-suited for professionals who can work independently with minimal guidance, collaborate across teams, and contribute to improving product quality in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on manual testing experience in web or product-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
  • Proven ability to write structured test cases and execute complex test scenarios.
  • Experience in functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Proficiency in JIRA or other project/issue-tracking tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both developers and product teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of QA activities for assigned modules/features.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and clarify ambiguities.
  • Identify test scenarios and prepare detailed test cases in parallel with development.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
  • Report, track, and follow up on bugs, ensuring timely closure through collaboration.
  • Actively participate in requirement discussions and provide inputs to strengthen product quality.
  • Create and execute test plans for feature rollouts and enhancements.
  • Ensure test coverage and maintain consistency across evolving features.
  • Provide timely updates on testing status and risks to the team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
