About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Manual Tester
to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing web, mobile, or enterprise applications, with a strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies. You'll be responsible for identifying bugs, ensuring product quality, and collaborating closely with developers and business analysts to deliver reliable, high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute
    test cases
    ,
    test scenarios
    , and
    test plans
    based on project requirements.
  • Perform
    functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
    .
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like
    JIRA
    ,
    Bugzilla
    , or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Participate in
    test planning
    ,
    review meetings
    , and
    quality discussions
    .
  • Verify bug fixes and perform
    re-testing
    and
    sanity checks
    .
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years
    of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
  • Good understanding of
    SDLC
    ,
    STLC
    , and
    Defect Life Cycle
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Agile/Scrum
    methodologies.
  • Experience using
    test management
    and
    bug tracking tools
    (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of
    SQL
    and ability to perform data validation will be an added advantage.
