We are hiring for the role of MEP Contracts Manager for our Bibwewadi, Pune location.

Position Summary:

The MEP Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of construction projects, ensuring contract compliance, cost control, and timely delivery. This role involves close coordination with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality building services systems across commercial, industrial, or residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate MEP contractor contracts, scopes, and terms
  • Review of BOQ and Value additions
  • Floating the tender for the prequalified vendors
  • Candidate mush has vendor bank of proven contractors
  • Candidate should be well versatile with entire contract life cycle.
  • Ensure all MEP systems are designed and installed according to specifications, codes, and regulations
  • Coordinate with project management, design, and site teams to plan and schedule MEP works
  • Oversee the procurement process for MEP materials and services
  • Monitor project budgets and cost reports related to MEP works
  • Resolve disputes and mitigate risks in MEP-related contracts
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance
  • Maintain communication with clients and consultants for progress updates
  • Lead value engineering efforts to reduce costs without compromising quality
  • Manage variation orders (VOs) and claims related to MEP works

Qualifications:

  • GED or High School Diploma (minimum); bachelors degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in MEP project or contracts management
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts
  • Proficient in construction drawings, MEP coordination
  • Familiar with local building codes
  • Excellent negotiation, communication skills
