**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Engineer to join our team, specializing in wrench manufacturing. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all products meet industry standards, customer specifications, and internal quality benchmarks. This position requires a thorough understanding of quality control processes, defect analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. **Inspection and Testing:**

  2. Conduct in-process and final inspections of wrenches to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  3. Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and profile projectors.

  4. Evaluate surface finishes and conduct hardness testing to verify product quality.

  5. Execute torque testing to ensure the functionality and durability of wrenches.

  6. **Quality Control Procedures:**

  7. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality.

  8. Identify and document defects, and initiate corrective actions to address quality issues.

  9. Analyze root causes of quality problems and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.

  10. **Continuous Improvement:**

  11. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce rejections.

  12. Collaborate with production teams to identify process improvements and implement best practices.

  13. Utilize statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.

  14. **Compliance and Standards:**

  15. Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and other relevant industry regulations.

  16. Maintain calibration records for measuring instruments and ensure their accuracy.

  17. **Collaboration and Communication:**

  18. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues.

  19. Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and standards.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Quality Control Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in wrench or tool manufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge of calibration and proficiency in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, profile projectors, torque testers, and hardness testers.

  • Familiarity with ISO quality standards, quality management systems (QMS), and statistical process control (SPC).

  • Experience in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹35,000.00 per month
