Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Footwear Buyer located in Mumbai. The Footwear Buyer will be responsible for selecting and purchasing footwear that aligns with market trends and customer preferences. Daily tasks include range building, assortment analysis, and negotiating with suppliers. The role also involves sales monitoring to ensure the optimal product mix and participating in developing purchasing strategies to maximize profits.
Educational Qualification : Any Graduate from FDDI/NIFT passed
Years of Experience : 5 to 6 Years

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end buying process for the
Sports Footwear category
across retail store formats (EBOs). - Define seasonal product strategies in line with consumer trends, brand positioning, and business targets.
- Liaise closely with
International sports brands
for range selection, product launches, and stock planning. - Build and maintain strong relationships with
brand partners
for exclusive launches, promotions, and joint business planning. - Collaborate with the
planning and allocation team
to ensure timely replenishment and optimal stock availability at stores. - Monitor sell-through, category performance, and competitor activities; take corrective actions to meet targets.
- Drive visual merchandising coordination for new season launches and key promotions in stores.
- Ensure cost negotiation, margin planning, and OTB control to achieve profitability and inventory efficiency.
