CCA AND THE ROLE

Capital Connect Advisors (CCA) is one of the most active boutique investment banks in the technology sector for Southeast Asia and India markets with headquarters in Singapore. CCA advises on mid market private placements and M&A transactions for growth stage technology companies.

We are looking to hire Senior Associate to be a core part of the execution function.

CCA is for builders who want to create a better future working alongside best-in-class founders.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist end-to-end deal execution for our private placement, M&A, research and/or strategic financial advisory mandates

  • Manage, train and mentor a team of analysts and associates
  • Perform full financial analysis including integrated three statement models, merger & acquisition, valuation, cash flow modelling, cohort analysis and dashboards from an investment and internal reporting perspective
  • Prepare key documentation including but not limited to pitch decks, information memorandums, management presentations, board packs
  • Manage due diligence processes including data room setups, client preparation and investor Q&A
  • Maintain best-in-class processes, protocols and policies including CRM and tech-led project management platform
  • Contribute to developing research and industry analysis with a focus on technology and internet in India
  • Work with the founders on overall strategy and team building
  • Travel within APAC for on-site client interactions, transaction management and investor meetings.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role front-end role in a blue chip investment bank, ideally focused on the technology or wider TMT sector.
  • Previous technology deal experience and exceptional corporate finance skills
  • Operational understanding of stakeholder reporting, audit, tax, corp sec, compliance
  • Methodical, meticulous and possess strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, business writing, and research skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a leader of a team
  • Familiarity with research databases and financial tools (e.g., Capital IQ, Tracxn, CB Insights, Tech in Asia, Crunchbase, Bloomberg, etc.)
