Role Description
We are seeking a skilled
Network Engineer
with strong experience in routing, switching, and firewall management within complex enterprise or carrier-grade environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network design, implementation, and security best practices, particularly in PCI/PII-regulated infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain routing and switching infrastructure using Juniper and Cisco platforms.
  • Implement and manage BGP and other routing protocols to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Juniper SRX firewalls, including policy creation for secure network segmentation and compliance.
  • Manage and optimize F5 load balancers, ensuring high availability and efficient traffic distribution.
  • Support network strategy, design, and implementation initiatives aligned with business and security requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance LAN/WAN infrastructure and ensure adherence to best practices for network segmentation.
  • Build and manage firewall policies for PCI/PII environments to meet regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Operate within carrier-grade network environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and redundancy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support DevOps practices for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise:

  • Routing & Switching: Juniper, Cisco, Arista

  • Routing Protocols: BGP
  • Firewalls: Juniper SRX

  • Load Balancing: F5

  • Strong understanding of: WAN/LAN technologies, network segmentation, and network security principles.

  • Proven experience designing and maintaining secure, compliant environments (PCI/PII).
  • Exposure to carrier-grade network operations and DevOps methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
