Role Overview

We are seeking a Chatbot Deployment Specialist to lead the implementation of an intelligent chatbot on our organization's website using a third-party pre-built platform. This role involves platform selection, configuration, and customization, as well as integrating the chatbot with Zoho CRM and analytics tools. The specialist will design conversational flows that align with our organizational goals, build and manage the knowledge base, and provide documentation and training to ensure smooth ongoing management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Selection & Deployment
  • Evaluate and select the most suitable third-party chatbot solution (e.g., Tidio, Drift, Intercom, Freshchat, or similar).
  • Configure and customize the platform for rapid launch, scalability, and long-term use.
  • Integrations & Automation
  • Implement integrations with Zoho CRM for automated lead and data capture.
  • Set up data ingestion pipelines (via website URLs, CSV imports, or manual entry).
  • Enable analytics tracking for performance measurement.
  • Conversational Design & Functionality
  • Design and optimize conversational flows to align with the organization's mission and user needs.
  • Ensure chatbot responses are accurate, engaging, and user-centric.
  • Conduct testing and iteration to improve conversation quality and conversion rates.
  • Knowledge Base Management
  • Build and maintain the chatbot's knowledge base using diverse content sources.
  • Continuously refine knowledge entries to ensure relevance and accuracy.
  • Monitoring & Reporting
  • Set up and maintain a real-time dashboard to track conversations, engagement, and key KPIs.
  • Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights for optimization.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
  • Create detailed documentation on chatbot configuration, integrations, and workflows.
  • Provide training/knowledge transfer to internal teams for long-term management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience deploying chatbots on third-party platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Zoho CRM or similar CRM integrations.
  • Knowledge of conversational flow design and chatbot UX best practices.
  • Familiarity with content ingestion methods (manual, URL scraping, CSV).
  • Experience with analytics dashboards and performance monitoring.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to APIs and custom integrations.
  • Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) concepts.
  • Prior experience in startups or lean teams, with a focus on rapid deployment.
