Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Sports (HOD) at Pallavi International School, Bachupally, located in Hyderabad. The Sports HOD will oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of the school's sports and athletics programs. Responsibilities include leading sports coaching activities, mentoring coaches, organizing sports events, and promoting active participation among students. The role also involves communicating with other staff members, students, and parents to encourage and foster a culture of physical fitness and sportsmanship at the school.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Sports Coaching with specialized knowledge in football and general coaching practices
  • Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff
  • Experience and a strategic mindset in team management and fostering sportsmanship
  • Ability to promote the sports program and generate interest, with Sales-related capabilities being a plus
  • A passion for sports education and physical activity, along with leadership qualities
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field
  • Prior experience in a leadership role within school sports programs is advantageous
  • Cambridge experience is mandatory.
