Job Description

As a  Senior Revenue Accountant, your role will be a combination of calculating third party reseller partner commissions, supporting internal stakeholders with commission queries, driving process improvements, and preparing analytical insights into partner commissions for the management.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports for partner commissions related to the payout, month-end closing and reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with the Channel Sales org on various initiatives and process changes.
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders to identify and drive process improvements.
  • Support overall business unit reporting requirements.
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of the systems that are critical to the partner commissions process.
  • Prepare analysis for ad hoc requests.
  • Ability to support external audit related queries.
  • Collaborate with the Internal Audit team to establish and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the company to resolve issues.
Qualifications
  • CA preferred
  • Work experience of 2+ years; preferably with a background in SOX/ICFR control frameworks.
  • Understanding of revenue recognition principles, related accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606) and non GAAP financial metrics particularly in the software and SaaS industry
  • Experience in financial operations, audit and accounting are a bonus.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. 
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks, analyze complex data, and provide practical recommendations.
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products, with the ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Strong communication skills required, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple changing priorities along with day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Ability to commute to the Bangalore office three times a week. 
  • Must be able to join within 30 days of offer acceptance.
