Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Aeronautical Engineering fresher to join our documentation and records management team. The role involves maintaining, organizing, and updating engineering and technical records related to aircraft design, testing, maintenance, and certification processes. This is a desk-based position ideal for candidates who have a strong technical background and excellent data management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical records for aircraft systems, components, and design data.

Support the engineering team in documenting test reports, design revisions, and inspection summaries.

Ensure all documents comply with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements (DGCA, FAA, EASA, etc.).

Assist in the preparation and review of engineering documentation, such as drawings, maintenance logs, and material certifications.

Update and manage the document control system to track version history and approvals.

Coordinate with design, maintenance, and quality teams to gather required technical data.

Generate periodic reports and summaries for internal and regulatory audits.

Handle data entry, filing, and electronic record management in compliance with organizational standards.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of aeronautical principles and documentation standards.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with CAD or PLM tools (added advantage).

Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently on documentation tasks and manage deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

Knowledge of aircraft maintenance logs, design drawings, or regulatory documentation.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality management systems.

Interest in building a career in technical documentation, quality assurance, or compliance within the aerospace industry.
