Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a PCB Component Sourcing Engineer located in Bengaluru East. The selected candidate will be responsible for sourcing electronic components for PCB assembly, evaluating suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards, negotiating contracts, and managing the supply chain for specific projects. Other tasks include performance and cost analysis of components, identifying alternative components, and maintaining documentation for compliance and tracking purposes.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in sourcing electronic components, supplier evaluation, and negotiating procurement contracts
  • Knowledge of engineering concepts related to PCB design and assembly
  • Skilled in data analysis, cost optimization, and alternative component sourcing
  • Proficiency in supply chain management best practices and compliance standards
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for supplier and cross-functional team collaboration
  • Relevant educational background in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in industries such as aerospace, defense, telecommunications, or industrial electronics is a plus
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite
