Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Junior Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, maintaining financial records, preparing invoices, and handling accounts payable and receivable. Day-to-day tasks also include performing regular reconciliations, supporting the month-end and year-end close processes, maintaining financial documentation, and assisting with audits and tax filings.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial reporting, and bookkeeping skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities

  • Experience with audits and tax filings is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
