Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end procurement operations for logistics and transportation services, including vendor selection and performance management to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely service delivery.
  • Implement procurement policies, controls, and compliance measures in line with company standards.
  • Oversee vendor billing and ensure timely processing of invoices related to transportation, warehousing, and other logistics services.
  • Conduct and monitor vendor KYC verification, maintaining accurate and updated vendor records.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to optimize cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards across all procurement activities.
  • Monitor logistics-related procurement requirements, inventory levels, and raise purchase requests as needed.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports, MIS, and insights for senior management decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, and logistics teams) to streamline processes and ensure smooth workflow.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, billing, and KYC verification, preferably in the logistics sector.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and other procurement/software tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
