Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. In this role, you will take leadership within your kitchen section, ensuring high standards of food preparation, hygiene, and team coordination. You will play a key part in delivering consistent quality, mentoring junior staff, and supporting the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for your assigned section ensuring all dishes meet the restaurant's standards.
  • Supervise and guide junior chefs and commis chefs within your section, providing training and feedback.
  • Assist the Head Chef in planning daily operations and mise en place for service.
  • Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and presented according to quality and portion standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure proper rotation, labelling, and storage.
  • Ensure food safety and kitchen hygiene protocols are strictly followed
  • Take initiative in suggesting improvements to dishes and kitchen processes.
  • Step in for the Head Chef when required, helping to manage kitchen operations and service flow.
  • Liaise with the service team to ensure smooth communication and coordination during service.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of culinary experience in a hotel, Restaurants, Catering, Ship with Indian Restaurants.
  • At least 1–2 years in a Chef de Partie or Senior CDP position.
  • Formal culinary training or certification from a recognized hospitality/culinary school.
  • Expertise in managing a kitchen section with strong technical cooking skills.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and time management abilities.
  • Deep understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
