We're seeking an experienced Associate Lead Designer who can blend creative vision with strategic thinking and hands-on execution. In this role, you'll guide design teams, collaborate closely with clients, and ensure that every project meets the highest standards of innovation and quality. You will play a key role in shaping design outcomes across digital platforms — transforming complex challenges into elegant, user-centered solutions.

As a creative leader, you'll mentor designers, drive design excellence, and champion a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining design consistency, elevating client satisfaction, and strengthening the organisation's creative reputation.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee design direction across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and brand identity.
  • Serve as the bridge between design teams, senior leadership, and clients to maintain clarity, alignment, and creative consistency.
  • Collaborate throughout all project phases — from discovery to delivery — translating business and user needs into impactful design solutions.
  • Drive user research and usability testing to inform decisions that create intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
  • Mentor and upskill junior designers through feedback, guidance, and structured development programs.
  • Promote design thinking, innovation, and best practices within the team, staying current with emerging design trends and technologies.
  • Partner cross-functionally with development, marketing, and product teams to ensure design cohesion and technical feasibility.
  • Oversee quality assurance for all design deliverables, ensuring accuracy, creativity, and timely completion.
  • Develop and manage design systems and reusable components to improve efficiency and visual consistency.
  • Foster a positive and productive team culture focused on creativity, collaboration, and excellence.

  • You bring 6+ years of professional design experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role guiding design teams.
  • You have a strong balance of creative vision and practical execution, ensuring ideas are both inspiring and feasible.

  • You excel in client collaboration and relationship management, confidently presenting and defending design concepts.
  • You have a passion for mentorship, helping designers grow through structured feedback and career development.
  • You're an exceptional communicator and storyteller, capable of translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.
