Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Support Engineer (G2 Level) with 45 years of experience in automation, scripting, and production operations within the Capital Market domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python, VBA Macros, and Control-M job scheduling, with exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). This role requires strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication to ensure system stability and timely issue resolution in a fast-paced financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for Capital Market applications, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and high availability.
  • Monitor and maintain batch processes using Control-M, troubleshoot job failures, and ensure on-time completion of critical workflows.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python and VBA Macros to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement permanent fixes.
  • Support application deployment activities and perform health checks across environments.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to coordinate production releases and post-deployment validations.
  • Utilize cloud monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch / Azure Monitor / GCP Operations) for proactive system health tracking.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including runbooks, SOPs, and known issue logs.
  • Communicate incident status and impact clearly with stakeholders and business users.Role & responsibilities
