Project description

The role involves providing production support for business-critical applications, ensuring stability, reliability, and smooth operations. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring systems, handling incidents, coordinating with users, managing deployments, and executing change management processes. The role also requires scripting capabilities to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.

- Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems and ensure uptime, performance, and availability.
- Handle incident management, including investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution.
- Coordinate with business users and stakeholders for issue clarification and resolution updates.
- Manage application deployments, patches, and upgrades in production and non-production environments.
- Execute change management activities in compliance with organizational processes.
- Develop and maintain scripts (preferably in Python) for automation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement preventive measures and improve system resilience.
- Skills

Must have
- 5+ years of experience in production support roles with hands-on expertise in monitoring, deployments, incident management, and change management.
- Strong experience in user coordination and stakeholder communication.
- Proficiency in scripting, with practical knowledge of Python.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.

Nice to have
- Experience in financial services or capital markets domain.
- Familiarity with SQL and Unix/Linux environments.
- Exposure to automation frameworks or DevOps tools.
