Job Title:
Audit Associate

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits
  • Prepare audit working papers and supporting schedules
  • Handle bookkeeping and accounting for client entities
  • Post journal entries and maintain ledgers in accounting software
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, debtors, and creditors
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements and schedules
  • Support GST compliance including data preparation and return filing
  • Assist in preparation of Income Tax computation and returns
  • Coordinate with clients for data collection and clarifications
  • Maintain proper documentation and working files
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal timelines

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Basic working knowledge of accounting principles and audit procedures
  • Familiarity with Tally, Excel, and accounting software
  • Understanding of GST and Income Tax compliances
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Willingness to learn and take responsibility for assigned tasks
  • Professional attitude and confidentiality in handling client data
