At the TVS Digital Engineering Group, we bring together product owners, software developers, data scientists, ML researchers and data engineers to build a multi-channel digital ecosystem (web, app, e-commerce, AR/VR, chatbots, personalization, search, etc.) that enhances customer experience and supports business growth. We partner with customers, business teams and engineering groups to create digital and AI-enabled products across the customer value chain. We are looking for a Product Owner to lead digital and AI product development for customer lifecycle and retail network and drive value delivery.

Job Title (Role): Associate Lead – Market Research & Consumer Insights

Location: Bangalore

Purpose

To proactively help TVS Motor Company integrate with the changing market environment and build a consumer-based, segmented and meaningfully differentiated brand portfolio. The role strengthens brand development, provides deep understanding of consumer needs and segments, and monitors brand performance to support market share growth and profitability.

Role Description

  • Understand consumer needs, segments, profiles, buying behaviour, trends and requirements.

  • Determine market potential across categories and consumer groups.

  • Conduct brand position and brand potential assessments.

  • Assess new product concepts for relevance and acceptance.

  • Evaluate new communication concepts for clarity and effectiveness.

  • Conduct price assessments for existing and new offerings.

  • Assess distribution and trade performance.

  • Monitor brand performance including profile, portfolio, equity, usage and service.

  • Conduct brand tracking and generate timely insights.

  • Support annual planning with structured and actionable research inputs.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

Masters in Business Administration / Graduation preferably in Economics, Psychology, Statistics, Sociology, Commerce, Science or Engineering

Required Experience:

15+ years of work experience in the automobile industry or related sectors in Market Research
