Position Title: Pharmacist / Hospital Pharmacist

Qualification: D.Pharma/B.Pharma

Experience: 1 to 3 years (hospital/retails pharmacy)

Purpose of the Role

To dispense prescribed medications accurately, maintain stock control, and ensure safe, ethical, and NABH-compliant pharmacy operations within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense drugs as per prescriptions and ensure correct dosage and labeling.
  • Verify prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and possible interactions.
  • Maintain pharmacy stock, expiry monitoring, and daily reconciliation.
  • Ensure storage and handling of medicines as per regulatory standards.
  • Maintain purchase, issue, and return records in HIS/software.
  • Guide patients on medication usage, precautions, and potential side effects.
  • Support audits, stock verification, and NABH documentation.
  • Comply with all statutory requirements (Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Pharmacy Council norms).

Skills & Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and storage standards.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing.
  • Ethical conduct and confidentiality in patient handling.
  • Coordination with doctors, nursing, and procurement teams.

Qualification & Experience

D. Pharm / B. Pharm with valid State Pharmacy Council registration.

Minimum 1–3 years' experience in hospital or retail pharmacy.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹10, ₹20,000.00 per month
