Job Description: Senior Software Engineer I - (T4)

Location: New Delhi

THE JOB-

In this role, you will be a part of development engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer. You will play

a critical role in developing and delivering end-to-end technical solutions that directly impact our products

and business goals. As a senior, you will be working very closely with the team lead to set direction for the

team, ensure code quality and to assist in the planning and decision-making process. In addition to writing

code, you'll mentor other engineers, influence architectural decisions, and help shape engineering best

practices.

You will work across the full stack—contributing to modern frontend interfaces (using technologies like

React, Angular, Mapbox, TypeScript, and JavaScript) and backend services (built with , Express,

and GraphQL/REST APIs)—while leveraging cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Docker, and SQL. Your work

will ensure the reliability, performance, and growth of our core products and platform.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING-

• Design and build full-stack web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, , and SQL

to deliver scalable and maintainable software solutions.

• Implement and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs to ensure seamless communication between

frontend and backend systems.

• Develop responsive UI components using modern frontend frameworks to create intuitive user

experiences across devices.

• Write automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure code reliability and maintain

high quality standards.

• Review code and provide feedback to peers to maintain consistency, improve performance, and

support team learning.

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical

solutions that align with user needs.

• Lead sprint planning sessions and participate in agile ceremonies to improve workflow transparency

and delivery accuracy.

• Contribute to system architecture and design discussions to ensure scalability, performance, and

alignment with long-term goals.

• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
• Optimize application performance through code refactoring, database tuning, and frontend

improvements to deliver faster load times and a better user experience.

• Mentor junior engineers to support professional growth and foster a collaborative team culture.
• Document technical decisions and processes to promote knowledge sharing and ensure

maintainability.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Coordinate with DevOps and security teams to ensure infrastructure is reliable, secure, and scalable.
• Engage with cross-functional teams including QA and Product to align technical execution with

business goals.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)-

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional full stack development experience with proven ownership of projects
• Proficiency in React and JavaScript/TypeScript for building modern, scalable frontend applications.
• Experience with and backend frameworks like Express or
• Strong understanding of RESTful API and GraphQL design and implementation.
• Skilled in working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design

and query optimization.

• Familiarity with ORM tool like Sequelize.
• Familiarity with Mapping technology like Mapbox.
• Practical experience using AWS services including S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and deployment automation.
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines GitLab CI.
• Ability to write automated tests using frameworks like Jest or Testing Library to ensure code quality.
• Skilled with version control systems, primarily Git, and collaborative workflows like pull requests and

code reviews.

• Experience working in Agile environments using tools like Jira for project management.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on proactive, scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities to collaborate effectively and support team

growth.
