Position Overview: The Hyperion EPM Administrator is responsible for overseeing and supporting the administration, and optimization of multiple Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications, including Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Data Relationship Management (DRM), Financial Data Management (FDM), and Hyperion Shared Services. This role is crucial for maintaining financial systems and ensuring efficient data integration, financial reporting, and system performance.

Overall Key Responsibilities:

1. Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Administration:

2. Administer and support the HFM application, including configuration of consolidation, reporting, and data integration.

3. Maintain and update HFM settings such as hierarchies, metadata, and financial dimensions.
4. Monitor HFM application performance and troubleshoot issues related to consolidation, reporting, and data loads.
5. Perform system updates, patches, and configuration changes as needed.
6. Develop and manage financial reports and templates for consolidation and financial statements.

7. Month-end activities close & open period and related tasks.

8. Hyperion Essbase Reporting:

9. Administer and support Hyperion Essbase, ensuring that financial data is properly integrated, modeled, and reported.

10. Maintain Essbase cubes, data loads, and calculations.
11. Optimize cube performance, including the development of calculation scripts, Essbase script tuning, and troubleshooting data load errors.
12. Support financial reporting and analytics, including the development of custom Essbase reports and dashboards.

13. Month-end activities close & open period and related tasks.

14. Hyperion Planning Administration:

15. Administer and support Hyperion Planning applications, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.

16. Maintain and manage Planning applications, including metadata, data loads, and security setups.
17. Collaborate with business units to understand planning and budgeting needs and implement solutions.

18. Develop and manage financial planning reports, and forecasting forms & templates.

19. Hyperion Data Relationship Management (DRM):

20. Manage and administer Hyperion Data Relationship Management (DRM) to ensure consistent, accurate, and efficient data governance.

21. Set up, configure, and manage metadata in DRM for HFM, Essbase, Planning, and other Hyperion applications.
22. Ensure proper data lineage and support data mapping, transformation, and integration.

23. Troubleshoot and resolve data relationship issues between systems.

24. Financial Data Management (FDM) Administration:

25. Administer and manage Financial Data Management (FDM), ensuring smooth integration between transactional systems and Hyperion applications.

26. Oversee data validation, transformation, and reconciliation processes using FDM.
27. Work closely with business and IT teams to implement data mapping, data flow, and data integration strategies.

28. Troubleshoot data load errors, configuration issues, and mapping problems in FDM.

29. Hyperion Shared Services:

30. Oversee the administration of Hyperion Shared Services, including user provisioning, access controls, and security management.

31. Manage the integration of user roles, permissions, and application access across all Hyperion applications.

32. Ensure the proper configuration of Shared Services for managing user authentication and application settings.

33. System Monitoring, Performance, and Troubleshooting:

34. Continuously monitor system performance and health across all Hyperion applications.

35. Troubleshoot issues related to application performance, data processing, user access, and system configuration.

36. Identify and implement solutions to optimize system performance and minimize downtime.

37. End-User Support and Training:

38. Provide training, troubleshooting, and support for end users across HFM, Essbase, Planning, DRM, FDM, and Shared Services.

39. Develop and maintain training documentation and user guides for the various Hyperion applications.

40. Provide support for system issues and coordinate resolution with the relevant teams.

41. Collaboration and Project Management:

42. Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to understand and implement system configurations that align with business processes.

43. Participate in system upgrade, implementation, and migration projects.
44. Support and drive process improvement initiatives related to financial management and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion DRM, FDM, and Hyperion Shared Services.
• Experience in configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Hyperion applications, including financial reporting, budgeting, and consolidation modules.
• Proficiency with SQL and Essbase scripting, as well as familiarity with FDM data integration and transformation processes.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and reporting processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system and data issues.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Hyperion system upgrades and migrations are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• IT certifications related to Oracle Hyperion solutions or Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).

This position requires a technically proficient with 9+ Years of experience and highly organized individual who can effectively manage and optimize a diverse set of Hyperion EPM applications to support enterprise-wide financial processes. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, address complex system issues, and ensure system stability and performance.
