Job Description: MIS Executive/Analyst – NBFC (Corporate Office, Hyderabad)

Position Title: MIS Executive / MIS Analyst

Department: Corporate / Operations / Strategy (as applicable)

Location: Corporate Office, Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-time (WFO)

Role Overview

The MIS Executive/Analyst will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting business data to support decision-making across corporate functions. The role involves creating dashboards, maintaining databases, generating periodic MIS reports, and ensuring data accuracy to assist senior management in planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

1. Reporting & Dashboard Management

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management review.
  • Create automated dashboards using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
  • Monitor KPIs across departments and highlight areas needing intervention.

2. Data Management & Analysis

  • Collect, validate, and consolidate data from multiple internal systems.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, deviations, and performance gaps.
  • Maintain and update master data records and internal databases.

3. Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and automate recurring tasks.
  • Support standardization of data collection and reporting formats across business units.

4. Coordination & Stakeholder Support

  • Collaborate with operations, finance, HR, and other departments to gather inputs and ensure data completeness.
  • Support corporate leadership with ad-hoc analysis and reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all MIS outputs.

5. Compliance & Data Integrity

  • Ensure all reports adhere to internal policies and quality standards.
  • Implement data checks to improve accuracy and reduce errors.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros preferred).
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI / Tableau).
  • Strong knowledge of databases (SQL preferred).
  • Understanding of MIS frameworks and business performance metrics.

Analytical & Behavioural Skills

  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, or business analytics (depending on level).
  • Experience in corporate or financial services environment is an added advantage.
